Sediment Erosion Monitoring Instrumentation
Partrac design, manufacture and use routinely a range of field instruments for measuring sediment transport processes on land, in rivers, estuaries and seas. These include the Cohesive Strength Meter for investigating sediment erosion thresholds on land and inter-tidal environments, benthic flumes for measuring sediment stability (to 400m depth) and sediment traps for the capture of sediments as a time-series and later analysis.
